Breakfasts were very very good.
wonderful hotel, staff were excellent and the location was amazing in the mountain above zermatt. the excellent service and the attention to detail! location: the property was adjacent to all cable cars are easily accessible, fury's cable car station, and the mountains above zermatt. and it was at a moderate distance from restaurant zum see, ate there couple of times.

Great staff and nice little place. Had queen room with a good bathroom, balcony, as for instance. Plenty of awesome food for meals. What a fabulous stay, no complaints.

Nice room, excellent food for all three meals. Service was excellent. Nice view of the mountain peaks, but not the Matterhorn.
Hotel is located on a hillside above the town of Zermatt and requires a gondolla ride that costs approximately 20 swiss francs, per person. Or if you are inclinded you can hike up the hill, which will take over one hour. We did hike down. The owner of the hotel seemed very unfriendly to Americans, to the point that I almost said something to him. The staff, however, never gave us this feeling.

Remote location next to the taxis waiting around charging 80CHF, fury's cable car station, and hiking in the area, it was in a comfortable area. Also, the hotel was 2 miles away from Pelican Bay Aquatic Center.

Like it or leave it? Here's my verdict
Once you are there,, the hotel is positively charming. The pool and spa facilities are out of this world. Top comfort in a fine location.
Access is limited to daytime only, leading to inconvenience for evening outings. The decor in some rooms felt a bit dated.

The staff was super friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. The food was consistently to a very high standard, great to enjoy our meals without needing to venture outside.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable for the quality offered.
